I Live way out here in the Bayou
In this small Lousiana Town.
Not much to do here
than drive this ole
74 Chevy Pick Up Around

There really isn't much here.
except drink down a few buds
at the local honky tonk.
Yeah grillin' catfish
listenin to Kenny
never thinking much
about the time-clock.

for miles around is that

It may be twenty miles to the nearest grocery store.

Some like the hustle and bustle of New York.
But for me I like the sound of the banjo
AND WOODPECKERS AT WORK.
With my kids in the woods
ROASTING MARSHMALLOWS OVER
A BONFIRE SPENDING THE
WEEKEND building
a tree fort.

Where it doesn't matter
what kind of car you drive.
All that matters is how
you live your life.
That you provide for your kids.
That you love your wife.
That you be good to your friends.
and that you enjoy your life.
